Throughout the year, the Board directs the philanthropic involvement of the membership by developing yearly projects to address problems of concern within the community. In this process Board members often serve as committee chairs of the three standing committees as well as various other ad-hoc committees. The organization's investments and allocations are also directly approved by the board.
